Together with other local Vietnamese organizations, FOUR PAWS has committed itself to bring an end to the captivity and abuse of bears on bile farms
Our future work in Vietnam includes:
- The rescue and admission of more bile bears to our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh.
- Close cooperation with local animal welfare organizations, local and national authorities.
- Comprehensive, educational work on the topics of wildlife, nature and environmental protection.
- National and international education work with the goal of reducing the demand for bile products and informing the public about the suffering of bears on bile farms.
Besides our activities to help bile bears, we also support the government in combating the illegal wildlife trade and provide bears that are victims of the illegal wildlife trade with lifelong, species-appropriate housing at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh.
